Terminals for ordering goods via the Internet are being installed in the colonies of Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Internal Affairs in each of the colonies is installing terminals through which both prisoners and their relatives can purchase goods, reports CTC.
“E-shop employees know which items, goods they can sell without hindrance, which goods can easily get to the convict. But relatives do not know these nuances. They sometimes buy goods that, during inspection, are then not allowed to bring into the territory. work out: this is possible, this is impossible," explained the head of the department of the Investigative Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Askar Tlegenov.
To make purchases, prisoners will be given an electronic key, after which they will be able to order the necessary goods for themselves.
Another advantage of this service is that now relatives do not have to travel hundreds of kilometers and carry bags of groceries. They will also be able to order goods for the convict from home, after which the supplier will deliver them to the addressee on their own, reports CTC.
An online service for sending parcels to prisoners was launched in Almaty. The creators of the application say that it will help to cope with the corruption moment when sending parcels to colonies and isolation wards.
